Pasir Gudang ranks at the second place in the reading of the Air Pollution Index (IPU). Despite the ranks, the average quality of air in the Pasir Gudang area is still considered as moderate as classed by the Department of Environment Malaysia (DOE). Looking at the trend there is no clear pattern on the reading of the index.
